How to make Leftover Halloween Candy Snack Mix
Gather all the leftover candy you want to use for your Leftover Halloween Candy Snack Mix. Chocolate-based candies work best since it would be a weird combination to have skittles and pretzels in a bowl with chocolate and popcorn. Most of your candies will be fun or snack sized, so you will need to unwrap all the candy before putting it in the bowl. This will take you a little time, but the final product will be worth it!
For the candies that are not tiny like Reese’s Pieces or Hershey’s Kisses, I like to use a sharp knife to cut them into smaller pieces for this Leftover Halloween Candy Snack Mix. Candies like Snickers are great to be cubed up and tossed in this delicious sweet and savory snack mix. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and enjoy!
Oftentimes I will bag this up into snack size baggies and stick them in the pantry. They make great after-school snacks, and are even the perfect size to throw in their lunch boxes for school! These little baggies never last long, and I’m free of all that unwanted leftover Halloween candy in no time!
