How To Make Turkey Face Donuts

Sep 18, 2017 · 2 Comments

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and what fun would these Turkey Face Donuts be, for breakfast.  You can even allow your kids to create them and then, of course, demolish them. I’m sure they will attempt to leave the clean up for you, however.

If you are feeling crafty still you can try your hand at this beautiful wreath.

In a standing mixer, combine the egg white, cream of tartar, powder sugar and vanilla and mix on medium speed until stiff peaks form.

Mix in a few drops of red and scoop into the piping bag

Using 5 pieces of candy corn per doughnut, press the candy corn into the top of the doughnut

Take the Hershey kiss and pipe a red dot onto the bottom of it and place into the center of the doughnut

Take two eyes and place a small red dot on the back of each eye and then place the kiss

Using the piping bag, pipe the gobble on the right side of the Hershey kiss

Let icing dry for an hour before enjoying, if you can get your kids to wait that long. You can even make them the night before if that helps with the wait time.
