This recipe for Loaded Potato Slices is delicious! It’s perfect for big groups because everyone loves potatoes. They do great with Tangy BBQ Meatballs as well for finger foods.

Loaded Potato Slices

Making appetizers for large groups of people or parties can get expensive. Sometimes after you buy all the ingredients, you’re not only spending a ton but have to spend a long time putting everything together and cooking it. These Loaded Potato Slices are so simple and are very affordable to make, even in large batches.

What You Need

Loaded Potato Slices

5-6 Red Potatoes
1-2 cups Sour Cream
1-2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
8 Pieces Bacon, cooked and crumbled
4 Green Onions
3 Tbsp. Butter, melted
Salt and Pepper

How To Make Loaded Potato Slices

Loaded Potato Slices

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Slice the potatoes into about ½ inch thick rounds and lay them in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush melted butter over them.

Loaded Potato Slices
Bake for about 20 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle cheese over the tops and put back in the oven for a few minutes to melt the cheese.

Let the potatoes sit for just a couple minutes and then put a dollop of sour cream on top. Sprinkle with some bacon and green onions.
Serve immediately.

    This is a great idea of a cheap but tasty appetizer for a dinner party. I like that it is so easy to make but in the same time it does look very yummy and full of flavour.
