We use TABASCO® to enhance our flavors when cooking. Now that they have come out with new flavors our combination experimenting has been in full swing and we are having a blast. We made these delicious Kickin’ Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers recently and kicked them up a notch with TABASCO®.
I have never been a fan of jalapenos for the main reason of their heat. I am not one that likes super spicy foods but the hubby insisted I had to try these and I am so glad that I did. These were scarfed down in no time and even my kids loved them. Now for our appetizer nights at home, these Kickin’ Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers are on the menu permanently I have a feeling.
TABASCO® Sauce is the perfect ingredient to have in your kitchen. You just can’t go wrong when it comes to adding it to any cuisine. No matter what dish you want to prepare TABASCO® comes in a variety of flavors to cater to any palette.
- Red Sauce: The traditional red sauce is made with 3 simple ingredients: red peppers, salt, and distilled vinegar.

Here are 10 ways to use TABASCO® Sauce in your kitchen
- Make a marinade. Use the Chipotle Pepper Sauce as a marinade for steak, pork chops, or chicken.
- Spice up movie night. Melt some butter in a pan with a tablespoon of TABASCO® sauce. Mix well and pour the mixture all over your popcorn.
- Make killer pork chops. Combine Chipotle Pepper Sauce with pineapple over pork chops for a sweet and savory dish.
- Add it to any eggs. TABASCO® sauce can take any egg dish from meh to Hot Tamales!
- Try Mexican hot cocoa. Whip up your favorite instant hot cocoa and add a dash of TABASCO® sauce for your own Mexican hot cocoa.
- Enjoy a warm, sweet, and spicy treat. Cut an apple in half and scoop out the seeds and some of the apple. Fill the cavity with a mixture of walnuts, brown sugar, melted butter, ground cinnamon, and TABASCO®. Bake on low for 25 minutes for a warm, sweet, and spicy treat.
- Amp up your dips. Whether it is guacamole, bean dips, or cheese dips, adding a splash of green or red TABASCO® sauce really amps up your game.

What you need:
TABASCO® Sauce of your choice
Cream Cheese
Jalapenos
Bacon
Bacon Bits (optional)

How to make Kickin’ Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers
Set your cream cheese out to get soft. Preheat your oven on to 425*. Wash your jalapenos.
Slice your jalapenos lengthwise.
Clean out the middles, be sure to get all the seeds out. If you want them to be spicier leave some seeds.
Add 1 teaspoon of the TABASCO® Sauce of your choice to your cream cheese and mix well.
Add your bacon bits if you are using them. Mix well
Using s spoon scoop the cream cheese mixture into the jalapenos. They do not have to be level, ours were not 😉
Wrap with your bacon strips and bake for 20 minutes. For crispier bacon broil for about 3 minutes.

What You Need
- TABASCO® Sauce
- Cream Cheese
- Jalapenos
- Bacon
- Bacon Bits optional
Directions
