How To Make Popsicle Stick Christmas Ornaments

Popsicle Stick Christmas Ornaments

Paint 2 Large Wood Craft Sticks brown and 2 sticks white. Let dry. On the brown sticks, paint a dot of tan in the middle of the stick and a dot about a half inch from the top. Let dry.

Cut 2 little black snowman hats from the black paper and cut 2 pieces of the orange pipe cleaner about ½ inch long each for the carrot noses.

Snip the brown pipe cleaners into thirds. Bend 2 of them in a U shape and then bend the ends in a different direction to look like antlers. Take 2 more of them and make stick arms for the snowmen by twisting and bending each end into a V to look like stick hands.

Now just glue all the parts on each of the sticks. For each reindeer: Glue eyes, red pom nose, and bell on the front. Glue antlers on the backside. For each Snowman: Glue eyes, carrot nose, 3 buttons, 2 ribbons for the scarf, and a black hat.

Let this sit and dry for about 20 minutes.

Once dried, just take the Twine, and knot each piece so it forms a loop. Glue this onto the back of each craft stick to use as the ornaments hanger. Let dry.

I am addicted to using popsicle sticks for crafting. They make the best thing to work with when creating ornaments. I usually just make decor for the mantle, this year I will try your Christmas ornament craft!
