Can you over cook fudge?

Yes, when melting the chocolate chips you can burn them if you are not careful. For best results microwave in 30 second increments, stirring after every 30 seconds.

Should I put fudge in the fridge?

Initially to set the fudge I do recommend putting it in the fridge for 2-3 hours to allow it to harden up. After it is set you can store it in an air tight container in the fridge or on the counter. Fudge does tend to dry out faster in the fridge so keep that in mind. However many prefer the taste of cold fudge.

How Do I Make Strawberry Fudge In the Microwave

First you will want to spray your pan with cooking spray. Then cover bottom and sides of the pan with parchment paper. Set the pan aside while you prepare the fudge.

Dice fresh strawberries into small pieces or for freeze dried strawberries use a plastic bag to crush them.

Add the white chocolate chips to a medium size bowl, melt in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time stirring every 30 seconds until completely melted and smooth. Tip: do not cook the white chocolate chips for more than 30 seconds at a time or they will burn.

Once the white chocolate chips are melted,  fold in the strawberry frosting.

Continue by folding in the strawberries.

Then spread the mixture evenly into the pan.

Optional press sprinkles into the top of the fudge.

Cover the pan and place in refrigerator until the fudge is firm (2-3 hours).

Once the fudge is set, place on a cutting board and cut into 1 to 2 inch pieces.
