The taste of white chocolate with refreshing peppermint is an addicting holiday dessert. I love to make this easy candy recipe for gifting too! It is a holiday favorite.
How long does this peppermint bark keep for?
In an airtight container it will keep for up to a week. You can keep it in the refrigerator or freezer too, but be careful on the condensation when you thaw it / remove it.
How do you cut peppermint bark?
Once it has had enough time to harden you can use your hands to break into pieces, this creates a really fun look. You can also use a very sharp knife to cut into pieces.

- Don’t overcook the white chocolate.
- Use crushed peppermint candy or candy canes.
- Add holiday sprinkles.
- Allow the bark plenty of time to set / harden.

How to make peppermint chocolate bark:
First melt Chocolate the chocolate in the microwave or on the stovetop. Be very careful to continue stirring and not get it to hot or it will burn.
Then add the peppermint oil and mix well into the chocolate.
Pour the melted chocolate on a parchment lined cookie sheet and spread it out evenly.
Next immediately add the crushed candy canes, peppermint sugar, and the candy cane sprinkles.
Let it set and harden then break or cut into pieces.
Enjoy! Store in air-tight container.
