Irish Coffee
Irish coffee is a caffeinated alcoholic drink consisting of Irish whiskey, hot coffee, sugar, and cream. Irish Coffee is a true classic!
This is the one drink that every coffee lover should try at least once.
Step 1
Prepare and buy all necessary ingredients. Be sure to be consistent with the measurements as it is very important.
What You Need
This is what you will need to make the coffee cocktail!
- 4 ounces strong coffee, chilled – We recommend the Bourbon Barrell-Aged Guatemalan from Buzzin’ Coffee
- 1 tablespoon simple syrup
- 1 ounce Irish whiskey (use 2 if you want it strong, but remove the Baileys)
- 1 ounce Baileys or another ounce of Irish whiskey
- 1-ounce heavy cream
- 1 cocktail shaker
- Ice
- Whipped cream
- Cocktail glass
Step 2
Fill your shaker with the ice cubes. If you do not have a shaker, try putting all the ingredients in an enclosed Tupperware container and shaking (sounds weird but I’ve done it and it works).
Add your coffee, simple syrup, Irish whiskey, Bailey’s if you like it, and finally the heavy cream. Shake well for about 15 seconds.
Step 3
After shaking, strain and pour your drink from the share into your cocktail glass.

- 4 OZ Drip Coffee We recommend Bourbon Barrell-Aged Guatemalan from Buzzin' Coffee
- 1 TBSP Simple Syrup
- 1 OZ Irish Whisky
- 1 OZ Baileys
- 1 OZ Heavy Cream
