Summer is right around the corner, which means it’s time to get out your bag of tricks. These Flower Fruit Cups for Kids are perfect for summer weather because the kids just seem to love them. Getting fruit into your kids can always be tricky, which is why we resort to doing things like this. You better believe that your kids will be in these fruit cups eating up all the fruit!

Flower Fruit Cups for Kids are something you can make with the kids! They’ll love putting together the little flower garden and adding the fruits. Make this a fun time for you and the kids. You can even make this an Arts & Crafts project for the end of school year and the start of summer. Kids LOVE this sort of stuff and they will think you rock.

Grab the supplies and let’s start making these awesome fruit cups for kids.

What you need

Flower Fruit Cups

Small clear cups

Toothpicks

Cantaloupe

Watermelon

Red grapes

Green grapes

Fruit/Vegetable Shape Cutters

 

How to make Flower Fruit Cups

Flower Fruit Cups

Layer green and red grapes in small clear plastic cups.

Flower Fruit Cups

Cut cantaloupe and watermelon into slices about ¼ to ½  an inch thick.

Cut the seeds out of the middle of the cantaloupe slices.

Using a small flower-shaped fruit cutter, cut flower shapes out of the slices of cantaloupe.

Use the same flower-shaped fruit cutter to cut flower shapes out of the watermelon slices.

Place 3 cantaloupe or watermelon flowers on top of three toothpicks, and stick them into the grapes in each fruit cup to create a flower garden.

Supervise children when serving your snacks, toothpicks should be removed before allowing small children to eat the snack.

What You Need

  • Small Clear Cups
  • Toothpicks
  • Cantaloupe
  • Watermelon
  • Red grapes
  • Green grapes
  • Vegetable Shape Cutter

Directions

  1. Layer green and red grapes in small clear plastic cups.
  2. Cut cantaloupe into slices about ¼ to ½ an inch thick.

  7. Place 3 cantaloupe or watermelon flowers on top of three toothpicks, and stick them into the grapes in each fruit cup to create a flower garden.

Notes
