My family LOVES games. My kids are very competitive in all they do. Chores, sports, homework, literally everything. When we sit down and enjoy a Family Game Night it’s almost like the claws come out.
They have to have their “winning” pieces that “they always use” otherwise it’s just ruined and they are destined for doom. I get a kick out of watching them get so close to the finish and either drawing a card or rolling a number that sends them back a few spaces. I think they are convinced I have tricks up my sleeve to make it that way.
All in all, we love a good challenge. As my kiddos are growing up the games we play are getting more difficult. Games are a great way to get their minds growing and away from a screen and electronics. We always get new games around the holidays as a family gift.
Id love for you to shop my Family Game Night Gift Guide. These are some of our favorites and a few that are on our list to get yet.
