Are you looking for a fun snack bag to pack for the kiddos? Check out these Goldfish Snacks for Kids! I’m all for the super simple craft life. Why make life harder on ourselves than we need to? These Goldfish Snacks are EASY enough for any person to fit together, especially the kids. If you’re putting snack bags together for a birthday party or classroom party, these are perfect for that.

Goldfish Snacks for Kids

Going on a long road trip? Pack up some of these Goldfish snack bags and take them on the road with you. The important thing is you aren’t going to spend a lot of time making them and the kids are going to love digging in. It’s truly a win-win for everyone involved! The crunchiness is just what a snack bag needs too! A little crunch here and a little crunch there to make snack time a whole lotta fun.

What You Need

Goldfish Snacks for Kids

 

Goldfish crackers

Blue acrylic paint

Paintbrush

Sandwich-sized bag

Clothespin

Scissors

Googly eyes

Measuring cup

Silver Sharpie marker

Red Sharpie marker

Blue pipe cleaner

How to make Goldfish Snacks for Kids

Goldfish Snacks for Kids

Paint one side of the clothespin with the blue acrylic paint. Let dry.

Use the silver Sharpie to draw a hook on the clothespin.

Goldfish Snacks for Kids

Pour about 1/2 cup of Goldfish crackers into the corner of the sandwich sized baggie. Push the air out and seal the bag.

Cut the pipe cleaner in half.

Fold the corners of the baggie towards the middle and pinch closed. Wrap the pipe cleaner around this pinch to secure.

Stick on the googly eye.

Create some fish lips with the red Sharpie marker. Allow the marker to dry for a minute or two.

Repeat with pink Princess Goldfish crackers to create a mate for your fish friend!

The goldfish snacks are ready to swim in a lunch box!

  • Goldfish crackers
  • Craft Paint (blue)
  • Paintbrush
  • Snack Bags
  • Wood Clothespins
  • Scissors
  • Googly eyes
  • Measuring cup
  • Sharpie Marker (silver and red)
  • Pipe Cleaners (blue)
  1. Paint one side of the clothespin with the blue acrylic paint. Let dry.
  2. Use the silver Sharpie to draw a hook on the clothespin.
