Ladybug Snack Bag

What You Need

Directions

  1. Wash, dry and cut the ends off the strawberries.
  2. Draw a few black dots on the snack sized baggie to create the ladybug's spots. Let the bag dry for a couple minutes.
  3. Place two strawberries, bottom side down, in each bottom corner of the bag. Place the remaining two strawberries, bottom side down, into the bag on top of the other strawberries. Push two strawberries to one side and other two to the opposite side, leaving space in the middle. Flatten the bag to release any air and seal.
  4. Cut the pipe cleaner in half.
  5. Wrap it around the center of the baggie to secure.
  6. Paint one side of the clothespin with the red acrylic paint. Let dry.
  7. Use the black Sharpie to color a “head” at the top of the clothespin (open side).
  8. Give the ladybug some magic by painting a zig-zag pattern with the glitter glue.
  9. Cut the pipe cleaner in half.

  10. Feed one half into the hinge hole on the side of the clothespin, making sure both ends hang out evenly.

  11. Fold the pipe cleaner upwards and twist, leaving the open ends at the top.

  12. Curl the ends of the pipe cleaners to create antenna.

  13. Stick on the googly eyes.

  14. Attach the clothespin to the middle of the bag & your ladybug is ready to fly away!
