Cut 2 pieces of the yellow paper about 7” long by 2” wide. Cut a little bit off one long side of each piece, in a curve like a crescent shape. These will be the chick’s wings.
On the first yellow paper wings, glue each yellow feather to the pointed ends and glue the orange feathers to the ends of the other paper wings. (Eight craft sticks should fit between the feathers on each of the yellow wings, so the feathered wings will stick out the sides of the chick once the craft sticks are glued down.)
Now take the craft sticks and glue 8 of them in a row, to the top of the yellow paper wings, between the orange feathers. It should look like the orange feather wings stick out from each side of the chick’s body. Do the same thing with the other 8 craft sticks on the paper wings with the yellow feathers.
Glue 2 googly eyes on the front of each chick.
Fold a small piece of orange paper in half. Cut a triangle out, making sure the folded edge is the bottom edge of the triangle. Now it should open and shut like a beak. Make 2 of these and glue each one on your chicks.
Cut 4 little chicken feet from the orange paper and glue 2 on each of your chicks.
Lastly, glue on a small feather on the top backside of each chick to finish off these cute little chicks!
