What You Need

Directions

  1. Bring water to a boil, let boil for 1-2 minutes and turn off. Let sit for about 10 minutes and then repeat boil. Let cool almost completely so you are not pouring hot water. **This step is optional, but it will give you a crystal-clear ice cube so you’ll be able to see the Legos better.
  2. Place the Lego men and blocks into the brick/block mold. Set mold on a tray or plate before you pour the water. Gently pour water into each brick.
  3. Take remaining water and divide into 5 bowls. Add 1-2 drops of food coloring to each bowl and mix. Pour the colored water into each Lego man mold.
  4. Place in freezer for 3-5 hours or overnight.
  5. Take out of the freezer, pop out the frozen Legos and place in a container. Use a measuring cup, turkey baster, spoons, eyedropper, etc. to pour water over the frozen legos and watch them melt!
