Have you been dreaming of Disney and longing for a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth? Me too! I know my heart was truly sad when I heard about Disney Parks closing down in order to keep all members of the Disney family safe. Not to mention, we had a trip planned that we had to put on pause due to the closure.

With the hit the world has taken due to Covid-19 businesses around the world have been affected whether they have had to downsize, modify their operations, or sadly even close down completely. If you are an avid Disney Parks fan you may know that the parks all around the world have had the opportunity to reopen with restrictions and modifications to their everyday operations that have made the experience quite different than your typical Disney Park day.
With the closure of their parks and following the reopening of some, Disney has introduced the “Virtual Experience”. Disney has created a virtual experience that gives you the joy and fun of Disney Parks from the comfort of your own home. Whether you are stuck in quarantine or maybe you’re just having some Disney fever you can visit Disney World from your couch in your favorite Mickey jammies and enjoying your favorite snacks.
The best way to experience all of the Disney fun is to head over to the Disney Parks official YouTube channel where they host all of your favorite rides, shows, and attractions.. Virtually!
Disney has always had some of these virtual experiences on their YouTube channel and website but they have really amped up the amount of virtual experiences they offer since the closure. It’s going to take a little bit of imagination and believing in the Magic of Disney but you will certainly have a great time on your Virtual Disney experience.
Disney has a total of 29 virtual ride experiences that feature some of their most famous rides including Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Big Thunder Mountain, and It’s a Small World! Talk about a Fast Pass, you can jump on your favorite Disney rides any time you want with the virtual ride experiences. In addition to rides you can also view some of the most popular Disney Shows and attractions including Disney’s Magic Happens Parade and the famous end of the night Fireworks show! Finally, you can also find virtual experiences that include walking down Main Street to give you a truly well-rounded Disney Parks virtual experience.
The great thing about a virtual visit to Disney is that you can still enjoy a lot of the fun that you would typically have in the park but you don’t have to worry about hot temperatures, long lines, and the worst part about a Disney trip… the hefty bill that comes along with your trip.
A few added things that you can do to really create the perfect home Disney experience is to indulge in some of your favorite Disney merchandise and snacks. So grab your favorite Mickey ears and pick up a box of Mickey Ice Cream bars from your local grocery store and you’ll be set for the perfect Disney day.
Although a virtual experience isn’t comparable to an in-person Disney Park visit, with a little imagination, pixie dust, and Disney Magic any Disney fan will be sure to have a blast on your virtual visit. Having a virtual visit is a great way to get a Disney experience anytime your heart desires but it will also be a great tool to utilize when it comes to planning real life Disney trips to get your family prepped and ready. If you’re in need of your Disney Fix, I truly recommend trying out a virtual ride or two – throwing them up on the big screen tv and taking a seat on the couch will give you the Disney fix that you’re longing for!
