Want to make your money gift a little more special this year? Make these Hidden Gift Jars!
Sometimes giving small gifts, or money can feel like less of a gift because of its size. These Hidden Gift Jars solve that problem with ease! Stash your gift inside a secret hiding spot in the jars, covered by a favorite candy or treat (we used M&Ms) and watch the recipient’s eyes light up when they realize there’s more to their gift besides just candy!
This also makes a great gag gift! Trick the person who receives into thinking they just got a cute jar of candy, when really there’s a lot more to it! I love doing this for small gifts, because it makes it so much more fun and exciting when I do! How will you use these Hidden Gift Jars?
I made these for Christmas this round however you can see my various versions at the bottom.

- 2 Empty Paper Towel Tubes
- 12-14 oz. M&M’s Candy, Christmas Colors

How to make Christmas Hidden Gift Jars
First, make sure each empty paper tube comes to just below the top of each jar. Trim them down if they are too tall.
Cut 2 pieces of the Christmas paper to fit the size of the tubes. Put some glue on each tube and roll the paper over each one to fit snugly.
Set each tube down into each jar and pour the candy into the jars around the outside of the tubes until the jars are full.
You can pour a little of the candy into the inside of each tube as well.
Place money or very small gift inside the tubes put the lids on each jar, and give your gift to your favorite person.
A fun way to give cash or small gifts for any occasion. Here are some more ideas for these!
